Santa doesn’t need an introduction.
He’s known by different names – Santa Claus, Papa Noel, Father Christmas & Saint Nicholas. Once a year, Santa flies around the world on his sleigh, pulled by his reindeer, delivering presents to all of the good boys and girls while they sleep.
Every Christmas Eve, Prancer is one of the first reindeer to be attached to the sleigh.
However, one year, the year in the story, Prancer has a problem and cannot continue with the deliveries.
Answer: He lay down in Golfo’s basket and slept there, waiting for Santa and the team to return.
Behind every great man there’s a great woman. In Santa’s case, that would be Mrs. Claus. Throughout the year, she helps Santa and the Elves prepare for the one big night of the year.
After Santa leaves for his deliveries, Mrs. Claus relaxes with head elf, Bernard.
Answer: She was chatting with Bernard when she heard the warning siren. Santa was coming back to the North Pole early. Something was wrong.
Bernard is in charge of the Elves. He works directly with Santa, checking off the boys and girls on the good list. Each one needs a present, so working with the other elves, Bernard makes sure all the toys are made, wrapped, marked with the name of the child, and placed in Santa’s sack.
Answer: He was sitting at the kitchen table, talking to Mrs. Claus about the year. He was just about to eat cake.
